Then SJ decided to be douches and drop an offer sheet on Hjalmarsson and Niemi priced himself out of the roster.
There was a pretty big mess.

Chicago had just won the SC. They still had Kane, Toews, Sharp, Keith, Seabrook, Hossa, Versteeg. They had the money to match Hjarmalsson and Niemi wasn't that good. Bowman could do that in his sleep, a matter of fact his Dad likely told him what to do.
