I think Kelly will end up on the third line wing before he plays many fourth line minutes. .........and if Kelly ends up on the 4th line ...........would that bother you ? It wouldn't for me. It tells me the Bruins have solid depth and a pretty good 4th line. He's a depth player who can move up and down the lineup with injuries. I don't know why people don't understand the value in that.

No, it wouldn't bother me. Not much in this world bothers me. I'm pretty easy going overall. Maybe a couple of cups of coffee before your next inference?

My eyes saw him on the 4th line at the end of the year mainly because Kelly was ineffective on the 3rd. Funny I heard how great it was that the Bruins could afford, cap wise, to have Kelly on the 4th line while Boston were being eliminated from the playoffs.Yah I know the Bruins need the locker room leader for the PK and faceoffs. No need to remind me. Funny how someone would point out that Kelly being on the 4th line and elimination from the playoffs are being used in the same sentence. Is that your conclusion to what ailed the Bruins last year and resulted in no playoffs ? Ha. Look further, my friend ! Yes he's the reason the Bruins didn't make the playoffs. That was my point exactly. Darn and Kelly won all those faceoffs and kept the puck out of the net. My goodness where would this board be without all your brilliant illustrations ?

My goodness where would this board be without all your brilliant illustrations ? Thanks........... and where would this board be without you repeating yourself with Kelly and his contract ? Holy smokes.........I thought this type of repetitive posting was a thing of the past ( BDC ). We get it........we know how you feel.

I hope any new edition of the fourth line is able to help the cause by chipping in a bit of offense.

Don't expect anyone from the Bruins winning the scoring title but when your top point leader is 62nd in the league and the next one comes in at 100th you hope that you're getting some type of production chipping in from not only the 4th line but the others as well. Having many players with their scoring stats down this past year didn't help the Bruins cause.
Getting more than the 6 goals that Paille and Campbell each scored would help but I don't see that coming from Rinaldo, if he's the new 4th liner. His stats of 8 goals in 223 games indicate that. If the 4th line can contribute in the scoring dept. it's a bonus but if not at least play tough D and keep the puck out of your end.

Bobby Robins just retired, strike him off the 4th line candidates list.

Don't we need some hulking goon with an 80 IQ to pummel anyone looks crosswise at our young talent? Isn't that Rinaldo's job now (aside from the hulking part). He certainly ain't on the roster for his offense, defensive acumen, or pk work.
