Lindholm bad tonight. Worse than last game.
Everybody's passing is off, positioning is off.
We got lots to improve on. Nowhere better to do it than in sunny FLA.

Had big plans to tip a few back and watch some late night games but I'm just gonna lay here in a fetal position for the night......

Each team taking cheap shots at each other for the last 5min. Two things: 1. Someone should have started "something" way earlier in the game to get them going. Hathaway, Freddy, Foligno, anyone. Start with Cousins, E.Stall, Tkachuk. 2. The Bruins have won so many games this year, they carry themselves well in victory. They need to learn how to lose (somewhat) graciously. Hey, you got beat, didn't play well. Chalk it up and learn from it. Make them pay in spades next game. One thing is for certain, the Panthers neither win nor lose graciously. They are punks.

Not his fault but when was the last time Ullmark had a .833 He was due for a stinker. Not even all his fault Bertuzzi started the giveaway parade and it kept going all game long.

This is playoff hockey...get used to it...it's 15 more wins, and it was down 0-2 in '11...you deal with adversity....B's seem to be more loose on road (sounds familiar)...Go B's! Turn the page. On to Florida.

I was thinking of pretending to be an Oiler fan and throwing garbage at the TV hoping it would land on the ice.

Hopefully he'll be able to score one that matters at some point. 71 whifs on shot...he did nothing to that point...get out of his contract as fast as possible. Not an impact player..59 major impact player.

So, playing the way they are right now, how teams currently in the playoffs could the Bruins beat? Hell, even the underdog winners of games 1 have looked better than the Bruins at home.

Oh, and the topic of their 1st team meeting should cover Hockey 101 number 1 rule: Ensure the puck exits the defensive zone if you have clear possession... - Don't try the showboaty tip passes to your team mate from 3 feet away while under pressure in your own zone. - Don't try the same play with the referee standing two feet away. They are not transparent. - Goalies should not stop the shoot around and then proceed to hand it off to a dman that isn't breaking and definitely if the zone is flooded with the opposition.

Carlo's snafu was the most innocent. he whiffed, and that happens. Mac was brain dead. Orlov had a bad night, as did Hampus. The D was bad. Friggin bad, and is a result of something we've seen a lot. They're simply trying to handle the puck waaay too much. You can get away with things in the regular season that bite hard in the playoffs. It was the better players that all got schooled, and they got schooled on an element of their game that's usually there. That's the point of concern. And they didn't handle losing well either, which often happens to teams that don't lose much. they got totally rattled when scored on early in third.
Just a horrible nite for our guys. Sometimes putrid grabs players by the throat, when a normal loss doesn't.
That was an embarrassment after being deadlocked for 2.
Now the re-set.

Better than in years past where we saw zero passion when they lose or get eliminated.

B's used to be about the most penalized team in the league, now they're about 8th. Florida is right about the top. I love aggressive play, but "shit" works in their favour. You can hate to lose without looking completely rattled.
The Bruins are an extremely talented ,deep team. They need to perform like that, not get drug into a sewer of the Panthers making. Outhit them, outscore them. Out-defend them. Boston is the better team, but they must play to those strengths to win.
if I'm Maurice, I've got them soo confident on the flight home. "We now have the proof". "We can win this series. there is now zero doubt...we just have to continue doing what we already did...we just have to want it more...it's there for the taking, and outside of a Cup will be the greatest accomplishment of your lives...taking down the best team in league history...when we weren't even expected to qualify".
Next game up..."statement game" from our boys.

Clog up the neutral zone, Clog up the neutral zone and more Clog up the neutral zone. Maurice is basically playing a futbol match. Counter attack. There is always a Panther in the passing lane a center ice.
Montgomery has some coaching to do. Without the glaring awful turnovers the game is closer. Bruins have found themselves a worthy opponent.
Boston better come out with there hair on fire on Friday.

Yeah Staal, Cousins, Tkachuk & Gudas, they have a few alright but cousins to me was the biggest, wanted to swing his stick but was petrified his gloves would fall off. I think before the series is over Cousins will get his.

If the Bs can’t win a Cup with what they have right now, then who GAF about value and roster construction next year and beyond? Seriously. They blew it in ‘19. If they blow this chance, then fuck it, man.
