Blew a point...sure Philly desperate, but get the point...instead coughed up a point.

And while anyone wants to rip Ullmark, remember it's probably 5-2 Philly if Sway was in goal the way he's been playing. 35 still played well and deserved better.

Desperation comes out the winner. Tough road ahead but these guys have a habit of playing the top teams tough. Go for it.

One last thing..better to have these games now...This is how Florida is right now, 3-game losing streak for Cats...so what...shitty games now, then play well in playoffs. I don't really care at this point rest of reg. season. Coaches don't either by pairing 6 and 52 and playing 48 all game long and having 21 on ice in last 2 minutes

These games are getting tighter exposing some of the details...Last 2 Flyer goals were result of not so great plays in the O-zone, a flyby by Marchand at opposing blue line and a giveaway by JVR? (Replay did not go back that far) ..both led to numbers the other way and two deflected shot goals...so some bad luck but give credit to the Flyers for attempting those shots and not trying to get cute. Flyers has better of the golden chances this game with 3 Tippett breakaways. That is a concern. Let's hope Bruins can clean it up for the Playoffs.

Ullmark had some great saves, as did the guy at the other end, but it just seems he is letting the unexpected (expected saves?) goals get by him... - First goal he stops on a breakaway, puck goes off his pad and for some reason only he knows it is his own backhand swat that knocks the puck in(also did that in shoot out not long ago). - Second goal was a fairly routine puck along the ice that he was too slow getting down to block. Stick not on the ice in position either or else it is blocked or deflected away. - Third goal was Tuukka-esque in that he was down too soon to handle a shot over his shoulder from outside the faceoff circle. Sure, he had some great stops but it's the ones given up and when they're given up that stands out.

Probably should of had the first one positionally (maybe) but the second one had eyes for the top corner and I'm not sure too many goalies would get the last one.

I didn't see any selection on the winner - stick close by but not deflecting. Anyway, Ullmark wasn't the biggest problem, it was generating shots and passing up ops to shoot from the point. Dmen should funnel the puck to the crease for rebounds, etc. but seem intent on passing across the blueline to their partner, down the wall to the winger or to high slot...just keep putting the puck on goal! You'd be surprised the good that would come from that re: rebounds, deflections and screen shots.

Ullmark made a show stopper, it's 2-2, there should not have been breakaway 20 seconds later

I read a couple of post-game comments from Montgomery where he said “I think we’re starting to see — the last two games — tight checking from teams that are either in the playoffs or desperate to stay in or get in,” “It’s the checking of other teams,” Montgomery admitted. “I thought the Rangers checked really well, and I thought the Flyers today checked really well. It was five guys together in every picture, in every zone." The Bruins must know this will be the recipe for any club they face in a series. I thought if he thinks these games are tight, physical matchups, wait until the playoffs start.

I thought if he thinks these games are tight, physical matchups, wait until the playoffs start. It's weird. You are supposed to be concerned about the talent, the lack of certain scoring from certain forwards, the lack of offense from the entire d corps, the questionable goaltending of Sway of late, the breakdowns on PK and the lack of a PP....but that's not my concern..It's coaching right now. I don't quite understand some of the decision making on personel from bad Dman pairings to waiting 50 minutes in a 1-0 game to switch anything to not allowing a goalie to play in 2 straight games after one proved he should be rewarded. I see "coach favorites" getting free passes and others getting healthy scratched. It's coaching and I'm concerned that Monty/Kelly/Sacco (who I think is an awesome assistant and would not have minded had he been named head coach) are making poor in-game decisions and not seeing what I believe is some obvious problems that can be fixed including the PP (no it's not 73 has to shoot more). I think the team can go far in the playoffs because I think both goalies will keep them in games when it counts, but in a close game if our head coach can't figure out who should be out there on a 6 on 5 (no 27 cannot fucking be out there), then that's my concern. The players? I'm fine with the team, I think they have a ton of guys overachieve and has to be remarkable to be where they are in standings. Coaching? Not convinced about if they know what to do.
