With no sound, you can do your own objective play-by-play. I am no Jack edwards but can give it a shot!! Few men are B6, few men are.

Jeremy Swayman this year against Toronto: 3-0-0 1.30 Goals Against Average .959 Save Percentage 97 Shots Against 93 Saves Do you still ride the hot hand and go Ullmark Game 1 ? I would start Swayman. That's where I'm leaning. I wouldn't be shocked at all if Ullmark started. Monty freaking out regarding this goalie situation. Word is that he’s starting Bussi.

What I wanna see is TF grab and pound Domi. Domi is the protector. Good. Freddy hopefully matches against that line. Maroon is just so smart and good at his role. T I'm looking for Freddy to step up big time. He seems to be built for the playoffs. Points will be a great bonus, but it's going to be his play without the puck... High energy & physicality need to be in overdrive. As long as he keeps it smart. Don’t let that rodent goad anyone into a retal that puts us on the pk.

FYI Fluto did a nice piece on Brazeau. The guy has been through a lot. The Bs gave him a shot, Toronto let him go. I hope he can play later in the series.

Last 5 Regular Season Starts:
Linus Ullmark: 3-2-0 ; 2.00 GAA ; .930 Sv% ; 1 Shutout
Jeremy Swayman: 3-2-0 ; 2.18 GAA ; .908 Sv%
-------------
Ilya Samsonov: 3-1-1 ; 3.80 GAA ; .865 Sv% Joseph Woll: 2-3-0 ; 3.25 GAA ; .881 Sv%
Samsonov has been especially weak on the Penalty Kill.
In his last 5 starts: 13.83 PK GAA ; .739 PK Sv%
Good time for the Bs to get there PP humming. Really hoping Minty will have Shattenkirk on the #1 unit.

I had to shut off the radio today, all they are talking about is Swayman/Ullmark. This series is not about which goalie will be in net, they're both good, strongest part of the team. To me this series comes down to is face offs and secondary scoring.

Matt Grzelcyk was in pain after taking a shot off his shin, but remained on the ice. “If he was a Black Bear, he would have got up right away, but he’s a Terrier, so he sat on the ice for a little while,” Montgomery, a proud Maine alum, said.
Ummmm....he was joking, but...............ummm...interesting comment.

To me this series comes down to is face offs and secondary scoring. I've said this before...look at the last 2 months in general. Didn't it seem like the best goalie games themselves ended up being overtime losses or a few regulation losses and the team's wins really weren't due to "great goaltending." So what you are saying I think is accurate. The only thing I would say is you don't want your goalie to cost you a game. And I don't think either will do that...or we can only hope that isn't the case. Just don't give up bad goals.

On the goaltending, I said it last year and I'll say it again this year. I would start Swayman game 1 and Ulmark game 2. I would let both know ahead of time. Depending on outcome, you take it from there. Both win, you keep the rotation. One wins one loses, you go with the winner for game 3. EZ peezie.

As much as I love the weeping and nashing of teeth post Laffs series loss to the Bruins, I"M SICK OF THIS MATCHUP!!
1959 was the last playoff series the Laffs won against the Bruins. You could say they're due to break through....but it's the Laffs.
I just hope the B's are smart enough to not think too much of their season sweep of them and take them too lightly...ala Florida last year.
Bruins in 6.

I see 3 key areas for Boston that gives them an edge:
1. Size, especially from the depth forwards 2. Defense, particularly the big 3 that can shut down TO's scorers 3. Goaltending. Should be a big edge there.
