Cranky ol New Englanders want the Celtics to have more white players, the Red Sox spend $300M + a year, want the old Patriot on NEs helmets and now want to cry about Chara playing on a better Crapitals. Poor Charlie Brown picked the wrong tree 🌲 slump your shoulders. Someone cue the violins and start singing Mother Machree for fuck sakes.

The redsox currently have no plan. Every team in the east is getting better. Sox have very high ticket prices. They fill the joint. Spoiled? Yes. Yes i am. I think the Sox have tossed away the future of the team as well. Pats- could care less. Brady should have retired a Pat. Stupid on their part. Chara- should have retired a Bruin. Caps were supposed to be done in 2018 as well. They havent lost in regulation and are as good as any team in their division.

I honestly have no idea what that post means, but simply put I find it amazing that in about a year, the Bruins, Red Sox and Pats have all lost possibly the highest profile player on theirs teams (incidentally, all for good reason) and one has won a Championship and a second is going to a championship. Its weird, no?

I must admit i wasn't impressed with the Bucs at all during the regular season, not one bit, at one point thinking they won't even make the playoffs. Call me wrong i guess, haha, but the one game they did look good during the regular season was their blowout of the Packers in TB, so it didn't surprise me that they beat the Pack once again.

I thought the Pack would be that much harder to beat since they did blow them out. As for the regular season, if Brady had a pre-season to work with them I think they would have gelled sooner.

TB win was all about their def and GB not being able to stop a 3rd down. Brady was ok. Nothing spectacular. I didnt realize Tbay could defend. White 45 was the reason they beat the Saints.

I thought the Pack would win as well, and it wouldn't be too close but anything can happen in a one game knockout as we saw. Brady throws 3 pics and still wins, it doesn't usually work that way. No preseason screwed alot of teams.

There were several points in the game where GB just failed to put up points, and then iced it by not going for it at the end. Glad for Tom and he’s the GOAT and all but INTs on 3 straight possessions and GB failing to cash in make that win largely by Tamp’s D. Tom has rarely had D like that. That Pats bend but dont break stuff gave me nightmares.

If you have some bone to pick that Im unaware of, you should clarify. This graphic suggests Im one of those entitled, Pink Hat fans that doesnt appreciate the bounty of good fortune in the Boston area in the last 2 decades. If so, you couldnt be further from the truth. If theres a comprehension problem with my OP, I’ll try again and type slower. Its rare when a franchise icon leaves. Its crazy rare when 3 franchise icons leave within a calendar year. When the first then wins a World Series, the second goes to a Super Bowl and hasnt played yet, I think its an interesting observation to wonder if the third could complete the hat trick. That’s my entire fucking point. In case it was missed, I believe it was time for all 3 players to leave, and I have no hard feelings towards player or management in any case. (Well, Mookie was a greedy prick but, he was entitled). But I felt like I waiting the whole 86 years for the Sox to win and Im crazy thankful for what they, the Pats and the Bs have blessed us with. I have an especially generous bit of emotional capital for the Sox and Pats, whose 10 championships are unimaginable, and I understand if I dont see another one. The B’s, well, 2019 was hard to take. 2011 was amazing though. I dont give a flying fuck about the NBA. At any rate, if you are trying to say something, I’m missing it.

Anytime there is a downturn, lull or sudden dip in the curve regarding the Bruins or Sox you come on here looking for blood to swim in. You’ve shown a tendency to jump ship real quick when the chips are down. Sports team Captains, heroes etc. retire, sign with other teams or move on. Its part of professional sports and has been for awhile. You still in junior high school ? Fine rip your posters down and find another team then.

I feel like the face of the B's was and always has been Bergeron. I know I say this with the heart of a Lion in Z, but Patrice was there BEFORE Z...He was there with Joe Thornton, he was there at the start of Julien, he was there in the SC final with the big goals/plays, he was there for the Toronto rally, he has fought through concussions when Savard was basically done in by them. Patrice is the face of the franchise, he's the Mt Rushmore of B's in the 2000s. Just saying.

Chara changed the whole culture of the B's at the time, Crosby is great but he took the torch from Mario & Jagr, and had Malkin around to help.

Bergeron..tastes great...Chara...less filling...no, I know I'm just having fun with the Chara on a pedestal crowd...again, love the guy, appreciated all he did as a B...goes to the fucking Capitals in our own MassMutual Division. Yeah, I'm all broken up over that..not really. Look, Bergeron doesn't get enough credit as a B.

He is an underappreciated star for sure, especially to most other teams fan bases.

Its part of professional sports and has been for awhile. You still in junior high school ? Fine rip your posters down and find another team then. OK, at least after pulling teeth, you were clear. I disagree with your point. I am extremely harsh on my teams when they are not doing well. I do not look at the rosey side of poor play, management decisions, and daggers to the heart like Game 7 in 2019. I wont be apologizing for it. But the point of this thread has absolutely nothing to do with “jumping ship,” it was making the very real observation that 3 local franchise icons leaving within a calendar year is a once in a lifetime circumstance, and if Chara was to go to a Final with Wash that circumstance would take on a bizarre twist. Thats all I said. I think it seems you harbor your resentment/dislike towards me for your stated reason to the point where you cant even read what I type. Nothing I said here relates to jumping ship. And in the threads here about the Sox, Ive hated where the Sox have fallen, but have supported what Management has had to do without the Pink Hat Entitlement you read about in every opinion piece in New England. I’m one of the few that believe trading Mookie Money was the only move they could make. You have every right to dislike me and hold this nasty opinion that you cant wait to get into print. But Id suggest you pick a spot where it’s actually relevant.
