We're going to hear a lot of stories like this - player development is so difficult to project already, but even more so with essentially a year lost.

I hate driving inside 128, I've become a country mouse. They've rebuilt so darn much I don't know my way around anymore.

Geez. I was hoping to see articles about the Providence guys who would crack the lineup this year. Whatever happened to irrational exuberance? I guess only if you're a fan or the Leafs or Habs?

Looks like the Chowdsters might be making his way into the fray. (Soon as he puts down the Tabasco and saltines. Then remembers the edit button).
What did you think of Brett Harrison in the OHL, Chowds ?

What did you think of Brett Harrison in the OHL, Chowds ? If it's true... We get Shupe back. We get Lucic back. And now Chowda? Starting to feel like 2011 all over again. If this is true, I'm not going to argue draft with him endlessly. I know I was right. Except for that Russian kid where I was deceived by a fraud.

I drove into Boston from the Cape last Christmas. I'm like what the what ? You old fawks never heard of GPS??? I was referring to the new construction and new buildings in downtown. Should have been more clear. I moved out of New England in 87'. If I do fly into Logan I go directly to the Cape. So not hopping on the T in Quincy. It's just looks crazy to me.

I drove into Boston from the Cape last Christmas. I'm like what the what ? You old fawks never heard of GPS??? My daughter's husband is a fireman on Bolyston Street. I asked her about any clear cut ways to get to Logan and back to southwest NH last week. He had no simple answers, neither did she. GPS got me to the airport. GPS did not help getting back onto 93 north afterwards. I should have driven back towards Boston to connect to 95 then up to 93, GPS weaved with the passengers eyes wide open through a nightmare of turns to snarled traffic pre 5pm. The Sumner Tunnel closure is making traveling not good. GPS is helpful at times.

Take the Ted and follow the signs to 93N, easy peasy! If you end up downtown, you're fooked, though.

Yeah, taking down the expressway has changed the complexion of the city a fair amount.

Remembering an interview with Bill Lee mentioning his 1st trip to Boston. You can end up doing circles around a destination with the lack of two-way roads in downtown. GPS gets quite confused about that in old cities. Adds to the charm. Just find a damn parking garage near Haymarket square. And enjoy the sites n sounds of an old city while walking.

When I go to Boston, I stay at the Hilton attached to Logan and take the "T" everywhere if I am going downtown to a Bruins, Celtics or Red Sox game. If I am visiting my sister on the Cape, either I take the shuttle bus at the airport and she picks me up or I rent a car...I left Boston 1980 - 84 and came back for a few years and left again in 1987. A lot has changed. I love it!

Would recommend it and left from Falmouth not far from my family's home.

A lot has changed. I love it! Actually that is where I picked up the two passengers to take back to NH. I did talk to the concierge at the Hilton about the best way back. He stated like what says above by Socca10, to go to the Ted then onto the expressway. My two passengers and I had conflicting GPS directions. I chose their cell GPS which took me to the back roads and streets finally to connect to 93N. You are absolutely correct to say to go to the Hilton to pick up. I would hesitate a bit to go to development or training camp if I lived in Reading or Woburn. The suburbs have expanded way northward enough to say Nashua is a suburb, where my other daughter lives. Sandog is correct to say if you can get to Haymarket Square, walking is great to games. I use to drive to the government center to park and walk to games back in the 80s and 90s. Ha. Alewife was the best for awhile, but the rail system in Boston is now a mess.
