I don't think Grzelcyk gets re-signed. That money needs to go to a center. I agree - I think they let him walk as well Think he gets moved for an AHL dman.

405 Games, 127 Pts, +123, 18:05 ATOI. Must be doing something right. Can you replace that, and at what cost? Does the replacement live and breathe Bruin Hockey? Look, I'm not saying he's great, but what are the other options? Watch the games, don't just look at the stats. He gets his ass saved by Charlie McAvoy on a regular basis, it's almost like the script for a Siegfried & Roy biopic. He commits the most outrageous blunders on d or in transition, the latter category allegedly one of his strengths (I never agreed with that assumption btw). He's unwilling to take the body (and that's not what should be in that S&R biopic), he's regularly out-muscled along the boards and in the B's end. Whenever he's in the lineup, he represents a possible danger to create high-percentage chances for the opposing team. They have to protect him in the lineup. I DO NOT WANT A D-MAN ON MY TEAM WHO NEEDS TO BE PROTECTED!!!
Other options would be not sitting Lohrei in favor of Grzelcyk. Not sitting Wotherspoon in favor of Grzelcyk. Looking for a d-man on the market who's at least 6'1" and doesn't shy away from hitting someone. I have posted it before, the B's have enough puck moving defensemen on their roster without Grz. And none of those guys needs to be protected.

After being really critical of him for 4 or 5 yrs, Sweeney has complelty changed my mind of him as a GM. I now think his contract negotiations and trades are tops in the league (good trades last year, didn't work out).
If Sweens re-signs Gryz, that goes all out the door and I want him fired!

You never know, maybe Ullmark would take a paycut to stay, i doubt it but stranger things have happened.

Ullmark will get a hall and Bussi will likely step up.

We only know one thing for sure, DS doesn't have a cloning machine because we only have one Grizz on the ice.
