Nope but that's a chat for another day and thread. When Elvis is mentioned he’s the only one that comes to my mind…. Same here but not in any "King" context.

As recently as March 26, they were rolling. They didn't lose in regulation since the 15th of February and went on an 18 straight game point streak going a crazy 16-0-2 in that stretch. But yeah, the bloom is off their rose lately. Missed tonight but just saw some game highlights. Looked like a pretty good back and forth, high octane game. Both clubs traded some big time chances. Even though I knew the outcome of the game, I was yelling "Nooo!" on that massive gap of a net behind Ullmark when he was against his left post. Was it Josi who had that chance but hit the post? Ullmark looked solid in the clips in not giving them much to shoot at. Lohrei got beaten wide a couple of times but he's learning on the go when he's in. Couldn't believe Josi missed that wide open net. It looked like Ullmark was interfered with anyways so I think it would have been called back if it did go in That was an opportunity of opportunities last night. If that were me, I'd be saying "Goddamit" in my sleep. Ullmark did have a Pred on the ice in front of him but inexplicably turned to his left beside the left post instead of to his right, the direction from where Josi was about to shoot. It was scoreless at that point late in the second period so a goal then could have been massive.

I don't agree with that. I think home ice is an advantage if the series goes 7 games. It doesn't mean the home team wins but i think they would rather play it in the familiar confines of their home arena and with their fans. The team has to deliver but the fans can give the home team a boost or influence the refs. Just my opinion. Or make the players of the home team squeeze the sticks a little tighter…. The days of intimidation for opposing players or refs being chased following the game are long gone…. Actually might hurt the home team in terms of officiating since the refs don’t want to show that they were influenced by the surroundings…. If you're in the game and you're squeezing your stick that can happen to any team in any arena, home ice, home dressing room and home crowd is an advantage, the team is left to deliver the goods.

One of Pastrnak's better games, Ullmark played as good as a I've ever seen him play but McAvoy and Peake played their best games of the year. Peake is starting look more and more one of DS's better moves. Peake: He was noticeably good. Very impressed. If he can play like that in the playoffs, it will be a huge boon. Didn't miss Gryz or Lauko on the least. But because Brassiere is hurt, we'll see Lauko (sound and fury signifying nothing) again. Unfortunately, you just know they'll play Gryz in the playoffs and bench Lohrei. Which stinks because you can see practically see Lorhei growing into his role on a game to game basis. I thought he was awesome last night. I can't see them having a healthy $3.687 million dollar man up in Press Box Row, seo. Lohrei is getting on the job training whenever he suits up. Last night, a couple of Preds got a step on him as he tried to stick check them. He'll have to get used to the big league speed and angles involved in taking guys out of the play. Charlie McAvoy's doppelganger seems to be adjusting well to the B's game structure. He plays the man which aids the cause.

The expectation to win is an added pressure…. And some fail to deliver in those circumstances…. Pretty sure as many examples of the road team coming out on top in a game seven can be found in modern times as can be for the home team….

Yeah, i'm not sure of the stats in that regard but home ice against the Bolts will be nice and then the Panthers after that, and then the Canes after that, and then Vegas after that. Not to mention the extra gates for JJ!

I tend to believe it is to give TOI for all defensemen before the playoffs. Gryz will be playing the first game. The real choice is the third pairing. Is it Peeke or Shattenbed with Wotherspoon. I agree with those who say it depends on who they are playing. Lohrei is not going to play unless it is a desperate need of offense or injury.

The only thing I'll say, Rich, is that he's fully paid once the playoffs start so they don't owe him anything. If Florida can sit Bob to start the playoffs last year, the Bruins can move on from Grz.

I just wasn't club drama llama about him being the root of all evil.
