When the B's won the 11 Cup...when they were down v. Montreal...dez and I were the only guys on the globe board who were positive...everyone else was doom, gloom, the series was over after 2 losses...blah,blah,blah. If you're a true fan, you stick with your team, through thick and thin. Just look at the die hard Leaf fans, suffering with no Cup since 67. Doesn't mean you can't gripe and/or get depressed/frustrated. 2011 was an amazing Stanley Cup ride with all those game 7's.

To quote the actor playing the assistant coach in Moneyball when telling Scott Hatteberg about playing 1st base. Hatteberg: I've never played 1st base. Pitt: It's easy, we'll teach you to play, tell him. Coach: It's extremely hard to play 1st base. ....that's the Cup...it's extremely fucking hard to win the Cup...and any team that has won would probably say the same thing.

Leafs have the Bruins right were they want them down 3-1 in the series now 3-2 going back to TO. Boys this is a 7 game series tons of pressure on the Bruins looks like another 3-1 blown series loss. Man this team makes it so difficult for their fans. Not sure what McAvoy was doing on the OT winner 3 Bruins looking at Tavares and Knies just coasts in. Too many turnovers by their D. Team didn't start on time 12 shots over the first 2 periods only of 2 shots in the first period too lackadaisical no urgency. Same old Bruins come Playoff time. You can see two games into the future, can you, Zoltar? Looks like you have the blinders on. That first period performance last night was embarrassing for all Bruin fans. Bruins are in true playoff form good regular season and one and done in the first round Carolina, Florida and TO???. Monty is a goner if they blow another 3-1 series lead under his watch.

I mean, here's another case in point. Does anyone honestly think the Jacobs are going to put at risk the $4+M in profit they bank for every playoff home date by playing Grz to make the janitor happy? That's just a thing people say out of frustration, right? No one actually believes it? Gryz's dad has pics of EVERYONE. ...is it you or sizz who has the penis gallery, and who is then, obviously, Grz's dad?

We're talking the entry round, against a team we should beat, but are dallying with because we havent played inspired. Again. If we do win, and I'm hopeful...one thing is clear. We won't be able to take 2 games off next round.

How does the outcome for game 6 look to you now, one more game to confirm the results. Make that 0-6 in closeout game. What a complete disgrace to start the game one shot in the first period. Shades of another blown 3-1 lead. What do you think over/under for the Bruins first period shots should be for game 7. I say 2 shots.

So anyway, as I was saying, they are a bunch of loser, choking pussy cunts.
Of course we knew they were chokers in 2019. And we knew they were mindless chokers even before they blew a 3-1 lead last year in the playoffs.
Because THAT TEAM WAS HISTORIC, LOL.
I said theres no team this bunch of no heart cowards could beat in a playoff series. Said it a long time ago. Said it when they WERE UP 3-1.
Monty should consider alcohol again.
Or a part time job at McDonald’s… just as long as no one is stupid enough pay him to manage even 17 year olds, because hes not good enough or smart enough.
Gutless, embarrassing, worthless women in yellow uni’s.
Bruins DNA= Choke in the playoffs.

Bruins take both games in Toronto. Our goaltending lights out all 6 games. The Leaf big guns fighting on the bench and the joke of social media. Matthews hurt, the Leafs being booed out of their arena. How TF did we end up in this position now? I don't get it at all.

I hate that my biggest fear now is Monty will make a dumb lineup decision for Game 7. He already did it was game 5...and it killed the Mojo, just like he did in 2023...and frankly his job is on the line in game 7...so if B's players want Monty back, then they better win. If they lose...well...FIRE MONTY. I wanted Sacco as head coach before they want to the 12 Step Guy.

Man, I don't get the people who see doom around every corner. I mean, I understand it. It's that fundamental need to dissociate from something you want to protect yourself from disappointment. It's the same "you can't fail if you don't try" Costanza logic. Team goes up 3-1 and it's a bad thing unless they win game 5. Proof they suck and will be going home. Chokers. Pussies. I hope these people don't have kids. I get that the Bruins laid an egg in game 5. Maddening. But it's one game. They've shut the Leafs down for three games and even in this game held them to one goal. There is no excuse for bailing on them. None. Lol.

Matthews hurt, the Leafs being booed out of their arena. How TF did we end up in this position now? I don't get it at all. I do...clutching sticks (just like 2019 game 7, just like game 7 v. Florida)...88 disappears...27 gets hit early and just like he did in previous big games he wilts...the strategy is simple. 1. You Berube the media when B's PP is on fire...Keefe did it with 63 and Marchand went from 0 penalties to 3. B's PP--2 in the last 2 games combined...so there you go. 2. You clog the center of the ice, Florida did that and Leafs are doing that..it's as if Berube is in the chalkboard room right now telling Keefe what to do. 3. You bring in the other goalie and all is well...Samsonov out..Woll in...Not quite Binnington who was 19 Blues guy but certainly how some teams have turned things around...like Hill taking over in Vegas net or Bobro taking over for Florida early in B's series last year. ....bottom line B's are spooked, they play spooked, Lindholm and McAvoy wilt when things are not going right. 88 scuffles... Leafs are better off with no 34 to be rely on...just like B's didn't need Bergeron when it was 3-1... Anyway, I'd say B's in 7...but who am I kidding. This isn't over, but Roadhouse has done pretty much everything he can do to advance B's...and instead it's 3-3

I have not posted all year. This team surprised me this year. Good for them.
However, since the new year they have run hot and cold. Playoffs, no different. And there is one reason for that - they don't have enough decent horses to take the pressure off the front-line players.
Nice to see the development of Lohrei and Wotherspoon on D. On the front end we are lacking immensely. Good news is that we will have lots of cap space for 2024-25 and we should sign a few good ones. Let all the free agents walk except De Brusk, but if we lose him we can get some else almost as good for the money he'll be asking. Ullmark should bring a good return.
Something is going on with Montgomery and some of the players, you don't start close out games by taking one shot in the first period. Once is bad, twice tells you a lot. Monty may be coaching his last game with the Bruins on Saturday. If they win, I think he is gone just the same. He repeated the same mistake as last playoffs, he broke up a line-up that was running on all cylinders and sputtered to a game seven.
I'm hoping for the W on Saturday. Win or lose, I think we are in for a much better 2024-25 Boston Bruins.

I thought they were more physical tonight, which was good. PK was great on the 4 min. penalty to Pastrnak. Leafs were more disciplined penalty wise and they shut down the B's on their only PP. Tight game with not much time or space and lots of blocked shots. Unfortunately, when you have that many bodies in front of your goalie, stuff is going to get deflected into the net as well....and sometimes by your own guys like tonight. Tough break in a tight game.
Botton line, can't expect to win too many games with 1 or 2 shots in a period. B's better figure out a way to get more shots (and traffic) on the net if they don't want to be the ones booking tee times Sunday.
Does Monty change anything personnel wise for game 7 or leave things the same? One things for sure, Pastrnak and Marchand will need to have their best games in order to move on. GO BRUINS!!

The Bruins wasted half the friggin' game playing non threatening hockey with that single shot. Pathetic. How they thought they could churn success out of that performance is puzzling. No idea why. Diminished effort or Toronto's relentless urgency nullifying anything the B's tried to get going? Only Boston's players and coaches can come up with those answers. Until they're officially out I'm not pulling the ripcord and yelling "Jeronimo." Ice up that ankle hopping off the bandwagon, man.
