The B's goaltending can be the difference, i hope one or both are in the zone and get the job done.

The B's goaltending can be the difference, i hope one or both are in the zone and get the job done. That's a massive key. Ullmark and Swayman should outduel Samsonov and or Woll. Plus, knock around their core four to let them know that's the deal every game.

Off- leafs big edge. I’m so happy we have maroon. Of all the people to be happy about. Pat fucking Maroon.

Reavo will be doing his thing. But Maroon js perfect. He will drive the leafs nuts. I’m gonna be in Boston in 8 days and hopefully a gm 5 is then. My boy is looking at some prep schools in New Hampshire so we will be catching a game.

Tarana bitch slapped the Bs this season ? Physically I thought they did yes. They went after March and pasta. I was thinking of the bitch slapping, shupe. In the 4-1 win in Boston, I thought that was the Bruins' first real rugged display for the majority of that game in a while. Toronto came in and initiated the hitting but Boston responded with their own. I want them to set the tone in that department.

What the leafs did was show they are gonna be the aggressor. I hated it. And nothing gives me warm and fuzzy feelings at the moment bc our offence seems to have run dry. I know the games were meaningless. Then why play the stars.

who cares about baseless predictions. Fact is...the Bruins are going to have to find something in the next 3 days.
they've been exactly what the talking heads have been saying...and they ain't said anything.
been performing like a wild card wannabe for a long time now.
that isn't negativity, it;s pointing out reality. the question is..how will they respond? Florida just jammed it up our ass again.
I don't think anyone can flip a switch, but the reality is, our Bruins have played pretty good against the better teams.
we can win, and should win. it's up to our guys to go out and seize the moment.
as much as TO is due...we;re due to win a fekin round.
pisses me off we're playing them..should piss them off too. I just hope they aren't going in with the prevalent attitude here

The Bruins are 13-4-0 in their last seventeen home games against Toronto. They are 8-8-1 in their last seventeen road games against Toronto.
Jeremy Swayman has been great. 4-0-0 ; 1.21 GAA ; .961 Sv%. I would not be shocked to see Swayze start game 1.
I feel really good about the Bs 3rd n 4th line matchups against TOs defenseman. I have absolutely no fear about the Lofs goaltending.

If the games "were" meaningless...how come they're only meaningless for our team? if they're meaningless...why didn't they sit half the team? why are games meaningless and practices not? you can't count on any one thing in the playoffs. we have to count on goaltending. only way this team has success, is if they want it significantly more. they haven't shown that to any degree of consistency, and that's the one thing I hate. last night was another prime example.

I think this season in a nutshell goes something like this:
Oct-Nov - prove they are not has-beens without the players they lost. Check.
Dec - ease of the gas having made your point.
Jan - lock it down after the break; don't get complacent.
Feb-April - OK, we're in. Nothing else matters. Use the games against yardstick teams to stay sharp. Otherwise just don't get hurt.
I think the performance swings have all been about emotion. When they haven't had a reason to care, they look like garbage. When they look like they care, they can beat any team in the league and look competitive win or lose.
I think they've shown they have no fear of the Laffs. Beat that soft, entitled team that thinks the Rodley Grieg incompetence sent shows they're now a team.

There are players that you know will set a tone and step up physically but it’s even better when those more finesse players crank it up and show that emotion. Last night someone must have pissed off Coyle. He threw 3 great hits on the same shift and I was elated. This team can do it without a doubt. The double M’s will due some damage but this series is winnable if they all play up to their capabilities.
