The hockey world is in mourning today, as former NHL defenseman Zarley Zalapski has passed away at age 49. Zalapski was selected fourth-overall in 1986 by the Pittsburgh Penguins, making his debut in 1988 and recording a point in his very first game. He’d go on to play for the Hartford Whalers, Calgary Flames, Montreal Canadiens and Philadelphia Flyers before heading across the ocean to continue his playing career in various leagues around Europe. Double Z. RIP. I always will remember him as a whaler. Didn't realize he played for the Habs, awesome hockey name.

Every player in Ottawa who has a no trade was asked to submit a list.

Total Bummer. I went to a lot of Whaler games in high school, when Zalapski was a key defensmen on the Burke-Sanderson-Verbeek-Cassels Whaler team. I actually remember he and Jagr getting into a big spat once. I can't believe he's a goner and Jagr is still playing. One of the best names in hockey. Three cheers to Zarley.

Every player in Ottawa who has a no trade was asked to submit a list. But there is only one Erik Karlsson.
I saw that after, but of course it's Karlsson and it gets spinned. They have a pretty good team there, not sure why they'd be doing this now. Plenty of time to get back into it.

Bobby Ryan finally got his second gl of the season. I do believe he actually shot this puck into the net. Sens up 1-0 in the 1st.

And the Pens also picked up Michael Leighton! Blockbuster!! Pitt has to do something. They are in danger if they don't turn it around.

You picked the wrong guy Geno. He did, but you got to hand it to Malkin he handled his own business, Foligno knows what he's doing with his mitts.

Good news! Pittsburgh will be dropping like a rock him in net. Got his team to the finals. Merry Christmas! Why are you talking about something that happened 7 years ago ? Your rules not mine. Meanwhile Leighton has played for Adirondack, Rockford, Donetsk, Charlotte, Chicago Wolves and Syracuse since 2011. You just suck at this debate.

Just saying. Tell me what Mr wonderfuls playoff success is in last 4 yrs. I'm curious. Hehehe. Winning!

I love how you revert to just kidding around when you're called on your nonsensical arguments. I'm sure San loves being called an asshole numerous times. Seems you're the only one here who cries about getting picked on so who's really taking it seriously?
