I refuse to give a George Will analysis here. I will say this as a former history educator, this election is like the late 1800s. Stupidity unlimited.

And I thought this would be a fun little summer thread without much controversy... Yah right. You did see what happened on the Paris thread.

You don't want to know, you could care less. I wouldn't waste my time tearing those tools up. Well why not? I said under circumstances I would vote for Obama instead of Trump. I've voted for Democrats in the past. Let's hear it. I want to hear the information you have that I don't have access to. Not being facetious at all. I don't try to change conservatives minds just laugh when they don't present facts. All the information in regards to those idiots, you mentioned, that Trump surrounds himself with, are in books and online, at your finger tips.

And Henry - you STILL did not answer my question. What would it take for you not to vote for Trump? He'd have to commit a violent felony before the election. The DNC leak is when this election became personal for me. I have different values than you because my father's family grew up during the Francesco Franco era in Spain. I understand the fragility of civil liberties. A country is only as free as its elections and press. Hillary and the DNC have rigged an election and have people from CNN/MSNBC/Politico in their back pocket. I can guarantee there are many more instances that we don't know about. There's also the small issue that she hasn't given a press conference in almost a year, meaning she hasn't given an answer to an unscripted question from the press. This isn't somebody that believes in democracy. I'd ask you the same question, but if you're still voting for Hillary after this week, nothing will change your mind. Jesus fuck you are presumptive. My family on my father's side came from Poland, we are Polish Catholics. There were 12 in my father's family that grew up in a 10x10 shack. All were taken for forced labor in Nazi Germany. My uncle was sent to Buchenwald. My aunts and uncles spouses were all sent as forced labor in Germany. My mother came from the Ukraine at the same time, she and her family was taken for forced labor as well. When the war ended they were under communism. They escaped communism and came here to the US. We sent food and clothes to relatives in Poland until and after the wall came down, half stolen before it ever got to them. You can't tell me shit about civil liberties. My parents directly suffered under both Hitler and Stalin.

Well, I can at least respect your opinion because you're well versed in the facts of your argument. Neelycam and Utah just act arrogant. That they have information, and when they're prodded to expound on a point or share this information, they have nothing to offer but their sneers. I really hate that people like them cancel out my vote.

You have a bad habit of talking out of your ass. You did that all through the Paris thread. You know a great deal about hockey, but are out of your element in politics. Everything you can say is either condescending, factually incorrect, or an emotional response that offers very little information. That's okay, it's not everybody's thing.

You don't know a damn thing about politcis and it is showing. You haven't even said anything besides your point is correct! What that is, I don't know. You offered a whopping one economic metric to validate Obama's entire economic policy. (If you keep it up, that one metric may get Paul Krugman fired from the times). I do want to know though, you said I have no idea about the people I support in politics. That there's something I'm missing. Something insidious. Dangerous. Like I'm about to open a door in a political horror movie and you're in the audience screaming that I shouldn't. What are you holding back? What information do you have, or reasoning do you possess that I don't have access to? I want you to know that if you don't tell me there's no way I'll fall asleep tonight.

Are you really suggesting that a billionaire is bad at business? Yes. I *KNOW* that this "billionaire" is bad at business. First, I'm not convinced he is a billionaire. There is no fucking proof of that. Second, his father left him 400 million according to some and 100 million according to others. Plus, what about the bankruptcies? No, wealthy people don't routinely declare bankruptcy. Did Bill Gates ever declare bankruptcy? Or Mark Cuban? Or Larry Ellison? Since when the FUCK does a "successful" businessman declare bankruptcy multiple times? Arguing that it's ok to file backruptcy and still be considered a good business man, and then be a President, is a ridiculously terrible argument. Drumpf's ego won't let him show his tax returns because he probably isn't a billionaire. All his money is tied in loans and alimony. HairHitler is an overblown mortgage broker. The man brokers land and hotel deals and then shorts payments to contractors and sub-contractors. The Orange Racoon is a con man and always has been.

Three pet names and a fundamental misunderstanding of personal bankruptcy vs the chapter 11 (file and restructure while staying open) bankruptcy of a business concern. You should reconsider the 'tude. He took a beating in the casino biz, and filed bankruptcy four times because of it. He's also worth an estimated 4-10 billion dollars from his other properties and ventures. There's no logical argument to make that someone who is worth billions is bad at making money. You want to give the guy shit because he failed at selling steaks or vodka? What do you have to show? How much money would you have left over after four commercial bankruptcies?

Does he actually have to be convicted of the violent felony, or would committing the violent felony on camera do it? And as far as Clinton having CNN/MSNBC/Politico in her back pocket, the conservatives have Fox news significantly further in their back pocket and right up their ass. Yes, the news, not the commentary shows. There have been several scandals involving Republicans where Fox news "accidentally" pictured them with "Democrat" as the caption. Can you find similar "mistakes" that egregious on CNN MSNBC or Politico? Threats. Intimidation. Appealing to people's base instincts. Vilifying classes of people. Claiming only he has the answers. Pick your megalomaniac dictator and all of those same traits apply. And the BadHab won the election. Things will be changing around here so fast it will make your head spin.

Let me know when the RNC rigs a primary election, tells MSNBC not to call that election "rigged," edits articles from Politico before their staff, and submits talking points and questions to CNN/MSNBC. They don't even care. The day after the scapegoat (Debbie Blabbermouth Schultz) resigns, she gets hired by Hillary, lol.
