Kochs already put their money back into the freedom caucus and the toss up Senate races. That Freedom Caucus is like a windup toy for the Koch's. That's the game, though. They need money to stay in power. They need to pass campaign finance reform. That is the game and they played it perfect in 2010. The House will be in Republican hands for 20 years because of the Kochs. The next Supreme Court justice is crucial to the conservatives. But they have had the 5-4 for quite some time. Conservatives should nominate who Obama gave them becuase Hillary is going to nominate a way left judge.

Jailing your political opponent? One new low after another. Ordering your AG to go after someone was the final nail in Nixon's coffin.

There should be some laws enacted to up the requirements for running for president, releasing their tax returns is one thing I can think of. Or hopefully both Donald and Hillary are an aberration that we will never see again. No matter how you slice it, this election is an all time low for the United States. Somehow or other this must be avoided in the future. As Bookboy put it, this is "the nadir of negative campaigning." I think it's pretty revolting to drag out the sexual assault victims from the Arkansas days and put them in the audience. One thing is for sure-the DNC spin machine isn't going to be able to paint someone like Mitt Romney as a sexist, animal abusing, hazing bully and get away with it after Trump. I take a certain relish/irony in the whole cry wolf issue with Trump.

Is your point is that someone of possibly questionable character will be perfectly fine in comparison to a sociopath? Seriously. What the fuck? How about holding *ALL* of our politicians up to a higher standard?

I kinda like Romney, going all the way back to his days in Massachusetts (I had a beer with him once in Worcester...(namedropping)). He wasn't a bad candidate, and was a decent governor.
And I wouldn't accuse him of animal abuse either...
...but that story about putting the sick dog on top of the car is one of the most bizarre election stories to come out. I can't even pretend it made me upset, because I laugh every time I hear about it.
The notion of the family station wagon cruising down the highway, with Seamus the dog in his cage atop the car and shit flying everywhere is just too much. Mitt Griswald.

Romney made deals with a very blue state legislature. You expect that, doesn't always happen, when the opposite party is working with a state legislature.

That's the type of shit that pisses people off, and should. You can't try cases with 8 judges. There's a conspiracy theory that Hillary might appoint Obama.

Anyway, I was so embarrassed he was elected in Massachusetts. Such a bad candidate. His policies would have been great were we still a manufacturing nation, but he made his money through shipping jobs over seas. He's the very definition of why wealth has left this country.

Clinton is going to win so relax. Then what are you going to do to reign in her stupidity in the next for years. Spend money to enlarge the bureaucracy? The infrastructure in this is a joke, even conservative investors know where to put the money. Meanwhile we have a Mexican wall to protect the USA companies that hire the same Mexicans, support Syrian massacres, assist China while it uses the latest robotics. Our country is without a direction. My generation is needs to retire. Please don't bring in the millennials, their rights are better than all others. What would Alexis De Touquevillie write today?

The Republicans might have nominated the only candidate that couldn't beat her. Meanwhile, Russia is calling home the family members of all their top leaders that are living outside Russia...Syria tried to hit another of our ships with a missile and we fired back...nothing to see there. Hillary has it covered. The Russian Rewind is coming.

Hillary can't even do an honest debate. Trump may say stupid things, but Hillary will do them and set this country back even more than Obama did. Crooked Hillary is about as shady as they come.
