I think you had to buy exactly your hat size as it was a one piece helmet, like football.
I think Marietta still makes football helmets.
I wonder why one piece hockey helmets never caught on?
And the big round holes must provide better venting than current helmets.

Spaulding fastback gloves
I'm seeing gloves with a solid back palm nowadays, but it makes sense to have one big piece that wrapped all the way around.
I only ever saw them in Rangers colors.
Until Jean Ratelle got traded to the Bruins, he had a black pair.
On the internet I see other colors, but I only saw the Rangers and Jean Ratelle use them
