Tough enough beating the Rags, but when the Refs are this incompetent, well not likely the likelihood of a W.

There is no question the Rangers are floppers. If the refs are poor both teams should be victimized. Not tonight!

The call on Lindholm was an embarrassment for the ref and the league. 30 penalty minutes on the Bruins…a joke

Bruins lost because they didn't invite Markwart to the festivities. That...and the fact they were pretty much shorthanded for half the 3rd period. Refs had a nightmare and it was irony/fitting that the one chance the Bruins could have gotten a key possession in OT, it got hung up the refs skates, and ultimately led to winning goal.
No Pasta (for half the Rags), McAvoy, and Zacha to still come out of NJ, Isle, and Rags with points in each tilt is impressive.

I've seen alot of bad calls this season, like more than normal if that's possible, but that call on Lindholm has to be at the top of the list, that ref should be embarrassed. I get it, it's a tough job but he was right there, what's so hard? FFS's!!

It's very sad when litteraly millions of people watching the game and replay see the rag pull the stick into his own face, yet the 3 dolts who get paid to see it miss it and do not have access to see it properly. It's an embarrassing fail on the refs and the league.

I’ll reserve comment til then. When I saw the back to back penalties in the 3rd — I had a feeling things were gonna go south.

So stupid ref #1 makes a call he can't properly see and stupid ref #2 who is close to it either missed it completely or saw what happened and didn't say anything. And the nhl is allowing this to happen. It's the trifecta of stupidity.

Maybe the refs were calling a ridiculously bad game as a tribute to “Grapes” as the coach of the lunch pail gang. Other than that it had the feel of an NBA betting-scandal game; I’ve never thought that about any NHL called game before - whether good or bad.

Officiating was brutal, but loved Pasta hits and Freddy paying tribute to the Lunchpail B's. Sway pretty much helped them get the point. Gryz coughs puck up in the last minute that kept Rangers in the zone--then on the OT goal he backs up and never notices Trocek? So sick of 48...please end this nightmare of me having to call him out every fucking game...*Trade Gryz!* Lohrei not out there in OT is just pathetic too..guy is offensive weapon in a 3 on 3...Monty figure this out. Go B's!

Todd Angilly has a great set of pipes. Great story as well. Useful to serve burgers n beers at TD. I thought he still did? Sings the anthem then off to the bar.

Tough enough beating the Rags, but when the Refs are this incompetent, well not likely the likelihood of a W. 32 Turds was talking about the league going scorched earth on hits from behind. Anything debatable was going to be 5 and a game. Beers was saying the same last night - Pasta paying for no call on Trouba, the Larkin and then Zub play, Gudbranson losing his noods.

Yep they were talking about this all week on NHL radio about someone not deserving of a 5 will get one, because of all the missed bullshit. I think it was Chris Stewart who said "It'll end up being a star player who gets it!" Honestly I truly think they should start penalizing the players who KNOW the hit is coming & turning their back on him at the last 2nd! Just like in the diving penalties? BOTH players or zero player should get called. This is why auto insurers stopped making someone getting rear-ended 100% in the right especially once airbags came in. People slam their breaks on in the hopes of getting rear-ended for a big payoff. Same thing is going on in hockey. Players don't wanna take the hit, or they wanna draw a penalty so they turn their back when the player is already committed to the hit. So if you start penalizing those that do that? It's really not an advantage unless your team are the 4 on 4 Oilers of the 80's!

There is nothing worse than sucking for a PP. can't remember who the former player they named was but he said they absolutely will take the risk of getting creamed from behind to draw a penalty because that's the job. Brutal.

Brutal. There's a guy I grew up with & player hockey with in NB book. Name was Tony Wormal. Had an opportunity to play in bigs. Played 3 games with the Saint John Flames & finished as a star in all 3 games. Was offered a contract & just didn't want to play hockey for a living! Wasn't very big about 5'9" 180lbs, but he had that Peter Forsberg ability of reversing hits on guys! Of course he could get the elbow up too, but he had such a great ability of taking a hit too! Seen him layout some big boys over the years as a teammate! Never fought a lot, but wouldn't back down either. He was always a top point producer, so he did have & needed a"Semeko" to ride shotgun. I don't know if these kids are being brought in & they just don't know how to take a hit, or scared to, but it certainly is becoming a pandemic across the league & I think the hitee' needs to start taking some responsibility of the position they put themselves in.
