All the B's need to do is add 3 players b4 the real season, just like last year we added Orlov, Hathaway and Bertucci, we need upgrades, it's on Sweeney to get it done.
Monty needs to be better too.

Zacha was 80% in the dot last night. The rest were atrocious. No excuse for Coyle. Agree Monty needs to get to work on this. yeah, but it took Monty 2 full periods before he figured out Zacha should be back taking faceoffs... also by not playing Beecher, you lose more faceoffs in the o-zone...and d zone That is one of the reasons why I coined the name "Morontgomery". Utterly stupid.

It's absolutely ridiculous that Grz gets more ice time than Carlo, Lohrei and ShatnerKirk. He was on the ice for the first Pittsburgh goal and the one by Carter, both time displaying his cowardly incompetence in the B's own end.
As a defenseman he's completely useless, but some of the commentators (and the way Morontgomery treats him) make it seem like he's just a notch below Erik Karlsson. Again, absolutely ridiculous.
When does Forsberg get back?!?

When the Bruins were knocked around and out of the playoffs by Tampa a couple of years ago, Marchand said words to the effect of trying to get through their defence to get at Vasileneskiy was like trying to skate through a bunch of very big trees. That group did a good job of boxing out Boston's forwards in terms of keep shots and a lot of the play on the perimeter the Lightning's defensive zone. I'd enjoy the Bruins' D corps fitting that description. There really is no need anymore to play a guy like Grzelcyk, who's too small and absolutely nowhere physical enough (or even willing to hit someone) to play d, when you have guys like McAvoy, Lindholm, Lohrei & ShatnerKirk who can all carry the puck and are potential PP quarterbacks, and are way more physical than #48. Yes, I know that Lindholm currently seems to have a problem with his shot, but it's not like Grz has a superb shot either.

The Gryz blocking other guys from playing is a problem...When Forbort is ready, I don't see in a million years how Monty could possibly let Gryz be part of the 6...Wotherspoon has no business sitting for 48...There is no way he goes ahead of Lindholm, McAvoy, Carlo, Lohrei, Shattenkirk...so you have 1 spot open...and it sure as hell not going to sit Shattenkirk (fuck this back-to-back game crap he sat him for no reason). Lohrei does not have to be benched, you play him in specialty situations--i.e. PP, yes PP, and definitely if you are in a OT situation, he should be always on 3-on-3...Shattenkirk also PP, and Lindholm NEVER ON PP...he's a defensive stalwart...that's all he is now..with Carlo...Charlie is the offensive weapon of the bunch and he does his job. Really Gryz is such a liability...too small, too passive defensively, and offers nothing on offense...hence he's done when 28 is ready.

Lohrei and wotherspoon sent back down Will he play with Shatnerkirk? It will likely be: Grizz-Mac Carlo-Lind Frugurt-Shatt

Will he play with Shatnerkirk? It will likely be: Grizz-Mac Carlo-Lind Frugurt-Shatt MCAvoy makes Gryz better, I am very sure it isn't the other way around.

It will likely be: Grizz-Mac Carlo-Lind Frugurt-Shatt MCAvoy makes Gryz better, I am very sure it isn't the other way around. Yep, the eyeball test shows that Mac carries Grizz and Monty lines him up almost exclusively in o-zone draws (hence why grizz averages 18ish mins) to protect him. I think Macs struggles this season have are in part due to him having to cover for grizz (who is not having a good year by any metric no matter what Monty says).
