One of my favorite days of the year here -- pleeeaase don't be the letdown game after ragdolling Tampa with 7.
I'm glad they flew in last night. A little more time to add some red blood cells.

If they keep up the hitting and intensity (I think Monty may have called them out on their charmin softness the past little while) then there is no reason for them not to take the Aves out.

The Avs are reeling a little bit too. Gave up 8 to Florida last night (*2 empty netters) and seem kind of dysfunctional recently for a team with so much starpower. Spotty goaltending, some injuries, and some forwards who play lazy (Rantanen, Drouin, Johansen). They are bipolar. Makar and MacKinnon can obviously blow games open and Nichushkin is having one hell of a season, but they can also be exploited by a hard working opponent a lot of nights. I just hope the B's bring the effort and Swayman is sharp.

Yes, because Colorado gave up 8 goals v. Florida...So I'm intimidated by this...not. Look, everyone puts on their jersey pants one leg at a time. No one is great, every team is a challenge if you don't play to your ability. B's play B's hockey and then they have a chance.

This is how I hope the Bruins keep playing like. Make it difficult for the other team and their stars. Make them earn it. Don’t just give up possession of the puck off the draw or because a hit is coming (as seems to be the Bruins habit the past little while). Keep up the “playoff” hockey.

Ivan Prosvetov (who?) started this game, he of 24 NHL starts to his credit, he promptly let in 4 gls on 13 shots. I didn't watch the game so i have no idea if they were all top shelf bullets but i imagine Georgiev will start against the B's although it doesn't look like he's having a brilliant season either.

This must be a joke, right? What does Morontgomery want with Graesslich on a PK unit? He could just as well put only three skaters on the ice and have Todd Angilly try to blow the puck out of the danger zone...

If the 4th line plays poorly Monty will blame Beecher. Not the plugs.

And yet steen is still in the staring lineup. It’s fun to watch him skate around and bounce off players with his attempts at hits

It’s fun to watch him skate around and bounce off players with his attempts at hits Brown was or is not impactful, but Steen is almost worse. I thought he would develop. Lauko hits people, Boqvist made a few offensive zone plays that were pretty good. But Beecher should never sit for any of these guys. Lauko not over Steen is silly.

Reason to play hard
The Score: Monday Best Bet: Back the Avs to roll over Bruins.
Put that on your lockers
Fuck Makar Mackinnon and the rest of the meatballs
Merkulov looked decent to me, he should be up over the rest.
Monty Sweeney suck in their player selection and ice times.
The Tampa game was a weird one, but was definitely very entertaining, hope this one is even better
