Oh for a second there I thought Gryz was being bounced off the top pairing...I'm so relieved now. I can watch the game thinking oh god, thank god Gryz is on that top pairing. Without him in the lineup, not sure if the B's have a chance v. the Shabs

Can't wait.
Is that just pure maintenance for Marchand at practice today, or is there an issue?

Even with Marchand not practicing Beecher can’t get into the lineup. I guess Monty loves Steens penchant for dumb penalties and overall game?

Either way concerning the lineup — no time for a letdown. Scabs trying to forget the beat down via Sens and looking back to consecutive wins vs Avs and Devils.
I will continue to go typeless once the puck drops for the sake of dumb superstition.
Will monitor posts just for the entertainment value and assume that at least 69% of the posts will contain the name Grzelcyk.

If there ever was a top ten floppers list thread, they would all be Les Canadien. Claude Lemieux would top the list. Marchand would be on the list for fairness. Nah, he would be number 11.

I don't think anyone can top Ribiero. You have to have an unmitigated tolerance for shame to flop around like a salmon (redness counts) and then get up and smile at what a great sell job you just did.

1. Subban 2. Ribeiro 3. Lapierre 4. Lemieux 5. Kovalev 6. Kostitsyn (brothers 2X) 7. Carbonneau 8. Richer 9. Gallagher 10. Patches (with apologies to the stanchion)

I will always remember Marty Lapointe staring at him from the bench with the rage and contempt that we all felt. Forget about hockey even, no grown man should ever be writhing around on the ground like that unless an M-80 just went off in your colon. Even then...have some dignity.

Carlo, Forbort, Poitras are all in, Ullmark starts. Lohrei, Wotherspoon and Steen are out Per Conroy at the Herald I'm sorry to say this because Lohrei as acquitted himself admirably for a rook, and Wotherspoon has managed to minimize his struggles to the point that he is a plus player and no one calls him Ryan Wotherspooner. Both contributed more than they simply survived. But man, am I happy to see an NHL D corps from top to bottom. Yeah, Grz isn't having a great year, but I don't mind him in that third pairing with FoBo. Make McAvoy and Lindholm find chemistry. Put the Shatman with Carlo, and let it roll.

You are mixing up the right and left pairings, but yeah the defense corps is starting to look better. It may take a game to reacclimatize nonetheless. Lohrei belongs, Gryz needs to be showcased, so ok for now.

I am cool with him playing his way off the team.

Well, he better not be coughing pucks up or making poor decisions because Wotherspoon should be in lineup....I'd still have Lohrei always ahead of Gryz, so that makes him 8th on a depth chart....but 73's partner on top pair for B's.

Seems like forever since they last played. Kinda miss "getting the hate on" for the schabs. It just isn't there anymore.
5-2, Pasta with 2.

Grzelcyk should not be in the lineup over Wotherspoon nor Lohrei. There is nothing about Grizzs game that makes the Bruins better than having the other two in.

Quick PSA:
The Habs are no pushovers this year. Young, exuberant, and still in the playoff hunt.
That said, 5-0 Bruins on the strength of a Grizz 6 point night
