Sens a bullshit org. They have less cap space than the Bruins.
Money well spent!

Refs doing their best to give the Sens a chance. Just finally got in front of a TV but was able to listen to the game for most of the first two periods. A lot of that time listening to the Ottawa radio. You wouldn't believe the whining about the penalties NOT called against the Bruins. "I guess in this game you're allowed to just put your stick in someone's stakes and take them down now." "Yes, if you're Charlie McAvoy." "Can't call them all, they just can't call them all...so Boston just does whatever they want because they know the refs just can't call them all." Dean Brown is the worst play by play guy for sounding like a whiny 7 yr old who has just learned the word "hypocrite" and decides that his parents are hypocrites because they're having a glass of whine but he has no phone for two weeks because he got caught sipping Kahlua from the liquor cabinet. You could have just stopped at "Dean Brown is the worst play by play guy". Wow he was brutal, i can see why he was taken off the Sens TV broadcasts, he had the most boring, dull voice, can't imagine listening to him on radio, poor you.

Oh Brad! You know, for a while I was thinking he'd lost some off his fastball. Couldn't keep up anymore. Fuck I was wrong. Both he and Coyle looked gassed on the last rush. Thought they might just dump it in.

Just went back via DVR and watched sequence once Sens entered the zone. That kick out by Sway brings 2 things to light
1) The fan shot on the kick out by Tkachuk set the play up
2) The kick save by Swayman went directly off the boards to Coyle then to Marchy. Swayman should get an assist.

I don't know if Alex Faust is a good play by play guy or not, but I was pretty overwhelmed by coherent sentences and proper enunciation. Faust's overtime call was outstanding...I thought he was better than that other game he called...and finally let's talk about a few things. 1. Best Power Forward-Neely 2. Greatest of All-Time-Orr 3. Best Dirty Area Scorer of All-Time-Espo 4. Best 200 Foot Player--Bergeron 5. but I don't know of a better wrist shot in B's history than Brad Captain Marchand...what a tremendous shooter he is... Sway makes the big OT save that we've been waiting for to save a game and turn it the other direction. Go B's!

I don't know if Alex Faust is a good play by play guy or not, but I was pretty overwhelmed by coherent sentences and proper enunciation. Well, this was the first Ive heard new guy work. Ive heard pluses and minuses about him here. And I disregard the seething hate some people have for Jack, thats not informative. That’s like reading about Gryyyzz over and over. So, the new guy is clearly super professional, sharp and capable. He’s obviously better than poor sick Jack. Its a quality product. I admit I find him a little generic. I dont believe he GAF about the Bruins. I wonder if he stays if Brick is then gone along with Jack. Brick seems a little detached from him, and there zero feel of either the Jack or Brick hometown interest in the B’s. The one time he corrected Brick I kinda felt bad for Brick. I suppose time goes on, and the guy is good. I just wish I felt that intangible connection to the team from him.

B with a more deadly, overpowering wrist shot than BM. Have to say… reffing sucked, blah blah, but I have no faith in this team to hold a lead late. Its just true. And Sway… love the guy, had some huge saves but irrespective of Razor making excuses for him in the post game, that tying goal had a bit of odor to it. And his Save of the Game was a recovery on another short side weird one that looked fumbled. I would have given the SOTG to the one that set up the winner in OT.

Contrary to misinformation (imagine that!), I am fit & healthy,” Edwards posted. “I will not be in the booth for 2 more games: the Ottawa/Philly roady in January,” he added. “I look forward to calling years of Bruins games. I am enjoying a holiday week family vacation. First time in 17 years.”

_____________________________________________________________ I think Jack deserves a LOT more vacation. Like, Sept-June every year. At this point there has to be more to it than that. It's Jack's third abscense this season. It's not just a once in a lifetime family trip at this point. I think NESN is very slowly trialing Faust to get some reactions from the fans before a full cutover maybe next year. I get why people feel he's generic but I feel he has a good sense for the game and it feels like a professional broadcast with him in.

Best one-timer---Pasta
Pasta can be incredibly infuriating to watch. One thing I noticed about him recently is his stance on the puck. There are times when he appears too upright or almost leaning back. This is especially on the powerplay. He does not bare down on the puck when there is less pressure on him and it makes him look awfully nonchalant. It's simple body positioning that takes a little work. Perhaps he is resting?
Add this to his high risk, high reward mindset and an incredible shot and you have a guy with boat loads of turnovers and great plays. If he could only "bare down" on the puck more consistently, then it would eliminate the "fighting puck" turnovers they refer to. I can live with his "fancy dan" turnovers due to the talent level and overall output.
