Can we just stop the letting every forward on the opposing team have wide open ice and 5 minutes to take a great shot...no Roadhouse, and B's are down 4-2

How many more hits does Charlie have to take before B’s start banging some bodies.

Probably the weakest B's d corps in a long time...because 27 can't do anything offensively, 48,12,28,29...do nothing...leaving 73 and 25 to do everything. Depends what you mean by "a long time." They had an awful D corps in the early 2000s. Here's a mini trivia quiz for you: From 1999-2000 to the first year after the lockout (six seasons), the Bruins defense was offensively inept to the point that no defenseman who played more than 80 games for them scored at better than a 0.37 points/game pace. In that six season span: 1. Which Bruins D had the most points at even strength? 2. Three D tied for the most PPG by a Bruins D in that period; a) who are they and b) how many PPG did they have? 3. Name the top 5 Bruins D in points in this period. 4. Name the top 5 Bruins D in goals in this period. 5. Name the top 5 in +/-.... I think you look back to answer those questions, this group will look like a Canada Cup squad. Even the period between the Finals losses had it's rocky spots. Chara started to slow, especially as an offensive contributor, and Krug, while dynamic offensively, was never great in his zone. Hamilton, Miller, Chiller, Bartkowski all played a bunch and Doughy and Kevan weren't what they became in that time. McQuaid and Seidenberg were also falling behind as the game became faster and Dennis's injuries added up. What you notice looking at both periods is that they had to hit on some undrafted UFAs and rehab other teams' failed picks. Miller, Chiller, Bart were all renos who played their fair share of AHL games and then some. Wotherspoon, Mitchell, Renouf, and Regula are part of that strategy, and while I don't think Wotherspoon has been the answer to anything, Kevan Miller was known as Giggles for a long time before he became a reliable, nasty defender. So...who knows over the next year or two who might be able to graduate.

Brazeau!!!!!!!! Brilliant... I liked that he powered through Suter's lazy stick check. Two goals from that line? Wow. What will people bitch about if they lose this one?

Coyle has been great all year so this homestand is a redux of his worthless days too in recent seasons...and he was due, so all good. 13 far from B's problems this season, one of the team's best players.

Positives today: Brazeau has been brilliant in place of shitty Steen...Boqvist best game all season...Roadhouse playing great... Negatives today: B's need to make roster moves on D...no other way to look at it postseason wise

The fact that Brazeau's first 40 minutes as a B was far better than any shift from Root Beer tells me just how pathetic a season this has been for 74

Bruins need to start generating some chances. They can't keep hoping for Swayman to keep Dallas at bay.

Every time the Bruins try to pick up speed through the neutral zone, there's what seems like 10 Stars waiting for them, forcing the puck to be dumped in. But the B's aren't able to hustling in on the forecheck to cause turnovers.

Bruins seem to be on a perpetual PK They do, zam. The result of Dallas hustle keeping most of the play in Boston's end.
