Everything in moderation and regular exercise is a winner, of course alot depends on your starting point though. If you're starting point is 100 lbs over your goal or normal weight then this obviously won't work, more drastic measures are needed and some good old will power. I have friends who are overweight , anywhere from 50 lbs to 80 lbs, who work out regularly and do daily cardio, and wonder why they can't drop a lb, problem is they love buffets, pizza, blizzards, pies, cakes, french fires and such, who doesn't right? Until a person gets on a healthy food regimen, proper meal sizes (not starvation diets), lots of water as has been mentioned and proper sleep, then they will be just spinning their wheels so to speak. All of this can be hard to do when you throw in a wife, partner, family committments, work etc, but its a matter of priorities and i think people will understand if your own personal health is at stake. Start slow but be vigilant in your preferred method of exercise, 3 times a week is great, if you can do 4 fine, but 3x is a good base, but bottom line is a diet change is a must if your eating habits suck. Sleep is just crazy. What is it? I don’t know. What do you have insomnia? I turn out the light generally around 10:15 pm and get up at 5:00 am like clockwork, so nearly 7 hrs works for me, maybe some people need more, but 7 hrs should be good for anyone.

Since nobody has posted in this thread for 3 1/2 years, should I just assume that all of you fatasses have been on the Haggs-Bourque fitness plan? Any New Years related fitness goals at least?
Cripes...

Cripes... Funny thinking that getting away from socal Baja Mexican food moving to West Palm Beach would help. Nope I've replaced it with Oysters and awesome barbecue.
