If you can accept that Jake runs hot and cold, but plays the PP & PK and can play either side then he's worth keeping. The key with him is getting an acceptable term and cost, which seems to be the issue. DeBrusk is not old and will be desirable to other teams when he hits UFA, i imagine it won't be with the B's or he would be signed?

Is it just me or is LBOH''s 400 goals not getting much play?
3rd rounder, smallish, big nose, bit of an asshole... Now Captain of the Bruins, and hits 400 GOALS ffs. 27 back of Bergeron.
WOW, nicely done Brad.

WOW, nicely done Brad. Marchand was a rookie while my 5'9" (but a solid 190lbs) nephew was playing in college. He wanted to be able to use a long stick for his shot, but I thought it was costing him some puck control. He pointed to Martin St. Louis - little guy, long stick, goal scorer. I suggested he was more rookie Marchand - fast, scrappy, 4th line grinder who can get under the opponent's skin (in his case, with physical play, not his mouth) and put a couple pucks in the net. I think I may have undervalued Marchand. And maybe overvalued my nephew, who is now an NCAA ref.

Jakey was drafted for his offensive prowess…. 18 goals from a guy who also sees a fair amount of time on the pp just doesn’t cut it for me…. And I’m sure the B’S can find other guys to kill penalties…. Let another team’s fans bitch and complain about him in the future, please…. Donnie will do just nicely with that extra cash to spend elsewhere….

So far I am liking Peeke. Tough, solid skater and blocks shots.
Let's see how he holds up to playoff hockey but looking like a nice trade.

I saw the blocks/hits and first thing I thought was if he just does that part of the game, he will be an asset...and he is...it was a great little move by Sweeney

It would be nice to have fORRbort as a just-in-case injury replacement.

"Bruins purposely matched Wotherspoon-Peeke against Bennett and Tkachuk all day. “They were in their faces all game.”
Probably see that pairing at home during the playoffs.

Hoping they get to the second round so they have a chance to match up with Bennett, Tkachuk, and let’s not forget that little shithead Cousins. On the road, I’m hoping to hear some . . . Wait for it . . . Peeke-a-Boos.

Wothering Heights, Peeke Entertainment, Lucky Lindy, Mac the Knife, Monte De Carlo, LowRider, Captain ShattKirk, Fort Bort, and Gryzly Bear (okay, I tried)....some depth on D for playoffs. At least if one were to go down, you got replacements....but 73,27,25....they have to stay healthy throughout the playoffs.
