I'm not sure he can play at that high of a level or stay healthy to get that many points.

Mario got to that point level with time out from back problems and Cancer.
Sid will have to get a chunck in the next few years.

Brandon Dubinsky personal issue potentially career threatening: report
Blue Jackets send forward home from road trip for scheduled doctor's visit, says agent
I guess a stay in Las Vegas will do that.

I guess a stay in Las Vegas will do that. Since I'm not a real journalist and have no ethical considerations, I'm calling drug addiction on this one. No evidence, but that's my guess.

I could believe that but am wondering what the "career threatening" is all about. If Dubinsky has a substance abuse issue i would think he could enter the NHLPA program, get better and resume his career, he isn't that old.

I bet the problem is recurring, and is therefore 'career threatening'. In the sense that, the staff may be be fed up to the point that if he can't get clean, it's over.

Hard miles on a guy who isn't huge at 205. If the substance is Oxy or some other painkiller for a chronic issue, getting off the drugs might mean finding other ways to deal with the pain of playing professional hockey.

This is BS. No one cares about the damn all-star game.

I like it.
They have jobs because of the fans.
Most fans enjoy the ASG.
I DONT WANNA GO doesn’t cut it for me.

With less than 10 minutes left in the first period, the visiting Leafs trail Chicago 1-0.

All the Dr. Recchi’s,with ESP, in the house know Quick is faking. I don't think he's faking. I think he would be better off resting a nagging injury he's playing with already. Just like Marchand is better off getting an extra week off....

Top: Matthews chases the puck into the crease (=ok) and interferes with the goaltender's pad/stick (=not ok) before knocking the puck into the net. No goal. Bottom: Chicago player chases the puck into the crease (=ok) and gets knocked into Andersen by Hainsey(=also ok for CHI). Goal.
Looks like the same type of interference, but it is not - based on interpretation of how it was caused.

I see it the same way, the TO D man, i thought it was Polak, pushed the Hawk player into Andersen, good gl. It just gave Babcrock something to whine about, something he's been doing a lot of lately.
