Approaching the halfway point of the second period, the Leafs are getting stuffed 2-0 by the visiting Sens. Ottawa has their clog-up-the-middle game going on.

Lufa fans are doing there usual crying on the HF GDT. I live amongst Laker fans, I couldn’t imagine what it would be like living around rabid Loaf fans.

TO ties it up in the 3rd, looking to go to OT and get a point at least but Ottawa has other plans and scores late to win. B’s still ahead of the LeRfs for 2nd in the Atlantic with 5 games in hand.

Sens close the deal on Toronto... 4-3 win in regulation. What's that now? Tied in points & 5 games in hand on Toronto? That is huge.

"From Tampa Bay Lightning: UPDATE D Victor Hedman will be out 3-6 weeks with a lower body injury."
That's gonna leave a mark. Time to move.

I tore mine the same way -- the unexpected bend inward (on his left leg). Much better than an ACL, because it will heal without surgery, but I bet it's closer to 6 weeks than 3 weeks.

I watched someone tear their ACL snowboarding at Squaw Valley. Not pretty.

I have a couple of buddies who are ordinarily rational and logical - except when it comes to that team, San. And I'm talking even before their recent upswing. Over the years, Leaf losses have been due to: shit officiating, fluke goals, certain guys hurt, the home crowd booing them, the other team's jacked to place in front of family and friends. But these guys believe it, man.

Schlem is probably their most mobile dman. The rest all borderline in terms of speed mobility. Alzner not a good puck mover. I think montreal will have a hard time making the playoffs. I think the Bruins will have a hard time as well. I'll call it now and get it out of the way, Boston Tampa Bay Toronto Columbus Pittsburgh Washington Carolina NY Rangers No go for Montreal, Philly & the Isles. Its definitely starting to shape up, the Pingu better get the lead out, and the Canes have to make a move, lots of time left. As you can see Shupe was underselling the B's.

Things can change quickly when a team either goes on a prolonged winning or losing streak. Taking a look at how the standings can fluctuate in this regard, the Stars who are taking the Sabres to the woodshed, will be only 2 puts back of the Preds atop their division with the win today and the Kings who led the Pacific for much of the season are now out of a playoff spot due to piling up the losses. The race for the top 3 in the metro will be interesting as well as the WC race, it’ll go right down to the wire, divisional games will be huge.

The home Sens had a third period 3-1 lead on the Leafs. Not anymore. They trail 4-3 with less than 2 minutes left in regulation time. The crowd cheers for the Toronto goals were as loud as those for the Senators.
