Hey Guys,
Can't believe it's that time already!
The league is open. Just want to do a roll call to make sure everyone is in for this year.
Not going to set a draft date for a bit here, but we should be good to go for proposing any pre draft trades to get your team ready for the start of the season.

Aside from a few, there was a unanimous decision to drop the playoff teams to six. The current setting is six playoff teams, top 2 get bye weeks for week 1, 20 weeks of regular season and then 2 weeks per round of the 3 round playoff.
The other option would be 23 weeks of regular season, 3 single weeks of the playoffs with the 1 and 2 seed bye and the last week is not used.
If anyone feels like this second option is the way to go I'm open to changing the format... I'm on the fence here... Both ways are a step up, but there is something to be said for skipping the last week altogether as it tends to be wonky with good players on good teams hitting the bench to rest up for the playoffs.

Fun to see the off season open up. I'm open to trading one of my goalies. I'm keeping young Hart for sure, and I may protect all 3, but I would look hard at an offer for Kuemper or even Fleury if it's solid. Gotta be a for one solid player or a good pick.

What are the keeper rules again? 9 keepers. We are good to go for proposing any trades before the draft, including draft picks. When I set the draft date, I'll ask everyone has their keepers elected and everyone else dropped 2 days before the draft. That is when trades need to be finalized too. Hopefully we can find a good time that works for the majority. |

On another note, I have 9 keeper slots and 10 players I'd like to keep. The guys on the bubble are Krug and Karlsson. I'm open to offers of a pick for either, or a swap for another player I'd definitely want to keep. Not interested in a Dallas offer for Seguin, lesser player spam has no value to me, obviously.
