The log says March, so not since the playoffs started. Must be busy with American Idle or whatever that show his daughter was going to be on was.

Must be busy with American Idle or whatever that show his daughter was going to be on was. He didn't get a lot of traction with that one, so he's off concocting a new story.
I bet he's on his way to pick up Orr and then head over to put a London Bridge on Debbie Sakic. In that yellow Kia he ordered.
With his daughters twerking in the background.
Oh the stories we've heard!

NAS , I finally got around to Bosch. Binged my way through the first four seasons. Finished season four after the game on Sunday. Then Crave popped up with Season 5, episode one, much to my surprise! I like it. Obviously. Welliver is good as Bosch but there are just enough moments of "oh, yeah...the hard boiled former special forces guy turned cop who is a jazz aficionado..." that it needs the rest of the cast to carry it through for me. Really like the fact they gave up on giving him a love interest season by season. Crate and Barrel = Hitchcock and Scully. The rotating captaincy. I'm convinced the Chief is actually a lizard in a person suit. I could do without the former 24 actors, but more without Maddie channelling Bauer's sulky, selfish princess daughter. Good show. I never watched 24. There are a few guys from The Wire in it, so I like that.
I haven't seen Season 4 or 5. I have to re-watch 3 in order to know what the fuck is happening.
It sure is a great show, though.

I’ve been meaning to watch Ray Donovan for forever and finally started it recently. I didn’t mind season one. Season two is getting to be too much of a family soap.
I totally love Paula Malcolmson - she’s in so many good things like Deadwood, SoA, and now this. I’ve never been a huge fan of Schreiber but he’s good in this.

They really play the Boston card hard and do well but there is one scene that still haunts me. Ray is talking to Mickey about being back home and mentions "Dorchester Street". It's an avenue, not a street. Dot Ave is as popular as Lansdowne, Boylston or Tremont. That was super weak!
It is a fun show, though. And Ray's car is so bad ass.

Jon Voight's pedophile priest jokes are perfect - the wrongest of the wrong, and just cringe inducing when he's telling them to cheer up abuse survivors. He's great in this. He's got this look perfected that reminds me of watching my dog figure out that I'm going to put him back on leash so we can go home - this animal cunning as he figures things out. Not being from Boston, I probably miss the misses on the Boston card stuff, but the episode where they have the huge family blowout and he starts dancing to Walk This Way seemed way too on the nose. The Boston comes to LA part of the story, though, is great when Abby first rips that neighbour for talking about her accent, and then later looks like she's going to rip her throat out with her teeth for insulting Ray. That's kind of an obvious theme in the show: Ray and family, Avi, Lena are all outsiders in LA, and are all either tougher, meaner, or both, but are also more normal than half LA characters. The car and the watches could have their own show. And the shirts. I'm a sucker for expensive shirts. I'm almost finished season two and it's taken twice as long as season one did already.

“Michael Corelone says hello”
RIP to a great actor! Went from the Army to a union rep at Greyhound, then a bouncer at the Improv to stage actor then some great movies as a supporting actor.

Been binging Vikings these past two weeks while procrastinating from work.
I like but it is starting to get frustrating as shit just doesn't get resolved, almost like the show is procrastinating along with me

Have watched "Vikings" from the very beginning and have thoroughly enjoyed it, but must say the last couple seasons have sort of meandered about. If you're into the first few seasons keep watching as plot lines develop for sure. I'm into the 2nd half of the final season so we'll see how things get settled.

I think you'll like it, keep me updated how you're moving along with it.
