And the hockey gods give the gunslingers their second win, taking down the Fightin' Shepherds. It's all falling into place now. Rip of three months of wins and cruise through the playoffs on the backs of...nevermind, I just looked at my roster again.
Philly's ridiculously slow start in terms of number of games hurt with Giroux and Couturier, and both are off their pace from last year. If Giroux makes up for lost time and gets to point/game by the end of the year, and Couturier makes up ground to just below point/game production...well, make I double my winning % to .400?

Two things - one, gunslingers go toe to toe with the Easter Island gang despite Butterface putting up 78 effing points in one day. Would have been even closer if half the team didn’t come up with a minus on the day. Like, Gaudreau, just come out even and we’re good, OK? Effing cabbage patch. Could have been over on day one but the underdogs hang in.
Two, it’s hard to be mad about Butterface kicking your team’s ass when it’s because the Bruins whup the Caps.

I am selling Gaudreau to the highest bidder. 99 points and +18 last year, on pace for 60 points and -22 this year. I've never been a fan of the player, but I inherited him and those numbers were too good not to keep. Now, I don't care. He's been conspicuously awful at the wrong time in losing two very close weeks.
If I was a used car salesman, I'd be telling you how great this Pinto is as long as you don't hit it from behind.
I want him gone. Who has a bad contract and a young player for me?

SanDog was obviously tweaking me for my long term dislike of the player, but, if I may say this with a straight face, I'm not touching his Dzingel.
I'm also not throwing in Josi to get rid of Gaudreau. You know and I know that he's more likely to have a good second half than continue to scuffle. He will start winning you games in proportion to the ones he's lost for me. At least three of you know he can help you take down Al. So...I'm a rebuilding team...what do you offer rebuilding teams for stars they're prepared to move...?
