Blockbuster trade between Book and the Vag! Book got his wish and got younger. Guentzel is out for season though. Ya, sort of like Kakko.. He wont do anything but occupy a roster/ir spot this year. Who know how long before he'll actually contribute. Book building for the future.

Book building for the future. Point 127, Gaudreau 108. Barkov 164, Guentzel 186, Kakko 56. Hate to see Point go, but happy to get bigger, get a snipah and some potential.

Probably got a major win in that trade.

Guentzel’s well over a point/game before his injury. Lots of risk that he comes back with some baggage, but there’s risk that Gaudreau’s size is finally taking a toll, and it makes no difference to me if I have to wait on JG. To me, Barkov for Point is a decent deal straight up especially when I have Dadonov and Trochek - though that might not last and Florida has a lot of work to do still. So I don’t mind the deal without Kakko, but that’s probably what pays the bills next year or the year after.

Barkov-Point is probably a wash. So basically you get younger potential for an older player you thought might be declining. Solid rebuilding trade.

After I beat Sizz this week, I'm considering more rebuilding trades.
Trade offers for guys you'll have on waivers within a week - like the Vag offering me John Gibson three times then dumping him on waivers for me to grab - need not apply.

He’ll send 70,000 trade offers, in about a two time, to see if you hit a bump or swerve into hitting “approve” by accident while driving.

Well, if you beat me, I'll be a seller... No way in hell I could catch Hags, OC or Big AL.

I think the shootout winner should give that player fantasy points. If it’s part of determining points in real life, it should be reflected in the points.

Wow, 3 way tie in the Bourque division with one week left.
Although I think the entire league seeds for the playoffs.

I also set 3/6 as the trade deadline.
Assuming you will be in the league next year, I'd have no problem with trading next year's picks now. That might make things more interesting... Makes playoff teams more able to mortgage the future for winning now and would help the rebuilders rebuild.
I'd suggest using the message here for the trade details once finalized and if teams agree on a trade with a pick, post it here in a big annoying bold font or something so we can find it easy enough next year when the pick exchanges hands.

For those of you who missed the 2pm conference today held by team Sizzle's upper management, here is the recap:
There are times when a hard decision has to be made, where quality, integral pieces of a team will needs to be moved with a greater picture of the future in mind and the organization is sad to see a player leave and wish him well in his future endeavors. This is NOT one of those moments!
Matt Murray, fuck you, get the fuck out, don't let the door hit you where the good lord split you! Who wins 2 cups then loses their spot to a guy named Tristen?
Suck it! Good riddance!
