Band of Brothers. I started it recently so by watching one of the 10 episodes a week, by the time I finish it will be spring. Winter sucks! I've watched it before but not in quite a while.
Also, just finished Terry Jones' Medievel Lives. Yes, Terry Jones of Python fame. 8 documentary episodes that combine 2 of my favorite things...Monty Python and history

They had about 5 hours of Bowie programming on Much Music shortly after he died. I've been enjoying short bits of it at a time - particularly "5 years" which is outtakes and interviews going back to Hunky Dory. And "Bowie on Much" wasn't bad, but it focused on 86 forward for the most part with videos for a number of songs I'd never seen before - Heart's Filthy Lessons, I'm Afraid of Americans, and two from Black Star. He looks like a man about to die from cancer in the videos.

No luck with The Americans. It was okay, but didn't have enough to get me to episode five.
The Blacklist? Nope. Three episodes and see ya.
Up next? Under The Dome. The premise is pretty bad but whatever.

So, six days later, I'm on the second season of Under The Dome. It's not the greatest show ever, but it's fun. The brother-in-law from Breaking Bad is in it and he's a bad ass bad guy. There was one scene at the end of Season One that gave me shivers up and down my spine. So, that's saying something.

Teachers on TV land has had a good start. Pretty funny, the BBC version in the early 2000s was really funny.
Just started watching Eugene Levy in Schitt's Creek.
Fred Armison in Portlandia just started back up on IFC.

I've been on a documentary binge. Don Rickles was hysterical of course. Johnny Carson and Dean Martin roast were worth watching alone. I actually watched a bunch of Carl Burnette & Friends that had Tim Conway in them. He would get Harvey Norman laughing so hard, because he'd go off script on him. The elephant story is priceless & one of my favorite bits of all time. Love Rickeles and Deans celebrity roasts! My 2 favourites is the one for Sinatra and Lucy OBall. Foster Brooks plays the best drunk ever!

Anyone seen Spotlight? All you Boston peeps should know the story behind that one. I heard its fantastic, but I don't always agree with critics.

Deadpool-- Fantastic and Ryan Reynolds is Hilarious! Not for children under 14. I just can't get into the comic-book-turned-into-a-movie stuff. At least not the super hero genre. Some graphic novels turn into ok movies like Men in Black. By the time I was an adult I had figure out that muscle-bound men jumping around in their undies is about as gay as it gets.

I like the Batman movies, almost all of them, but the rest just don't do it for me. Guardians of the Galaxy was fun. None other stick out as "hey, that was a good movie" category.

If you're into British cinema, you should catch Legend. It's the true story of Ron and Reggie Kray, twin gangster thugs who terrorized London in the early 60's. Both roles are played by Tom Hardy. There was an earlier version called The Krays in 1990 that starred Gary and Martin Kemp which was also solid.

Finally got to see the Hateful Eight. Yep it was a Tarantino movie alright. Dialogue was great and the build up to the climax was good per usual.

Okay, Under The Dome was good for the first two seasons. The third one was a super bust...which is probably why it only lasted three seasons. I tried Better Call Saul. Six episodes in and I was bored with it.
So now I'm on to Schitt's Creek at the suggesting of the gang here. Certainly the premise is great and I could use a 21 minute comedy instead of the 44 minute drama. The only thing that sucks is that Chris "Get A Life" Elliot is in this. He sucks.

"Roland, can you get the FUCK OUT?"
Man, if you can laugh out loud 11 minutes into the first episode of a show, it's a good sign.

This isn't the same as all the other super hero movies. Matter of fact he makes fun of them. There's sex, heads cut off, lots of sex jokes. You need to check out who DeadPool actually is. Lol

With that description, I would probably give it a chance. There's only one problem. I fucking hate Ryan Reynolds. He's on par with Owen Wilson for actors that I cannot stand. No matter what the words are from either of them, just the sign of their face or sound of their voice makes me angry.

Well, then you may hate because DeadPool is also known as the "Merc with the Mouth!", but the stuff he says is Hilarious and there's no filter! So, he say a lot!, but he's behind a mask for most of the movie.

I've tried to watch the Spandau Ballet version, way too much violence for my liking, but it's probably impossible to make a movie about the Kray twins without a lot of violence in it.
