Trade deadline will maybe clear up that problem, Beecher will be up for the playoffs no doubt. This doesn't provide any comfort to me... What kind of comfort are you looking for ?

No but that doesn't make Beecher's AHL performance less disappointing. I would have liked to see more impact to prove his point. But Beecher has never dotted the scoresheet. He's just not a points guy. His highest junior season was 25 points. His highest NCAA season was 16 points. He's always been a defensive center/two-way player, who slots in after the scorers. That he's +6 in 6 games Providence (with a couple points) should indeed be making his case. *This said with the disclaimer that I have not watched the games. Yes, true. I guess, though, I would say that part of the way he's been talked about has suggested that that might be more a question of usage than ability, and certainly he's shown flashes of knowing how to use his tools, so instead of showing signs that that could be about to happen, we're getting confirmation that he's good depth. The 25 points in junior was in 34 games - better than .67 points/game. The 16 in the NCAA was in his rookie year and 31 games - better than .50/game. In the A, he's slightly above 1 point every 3 games and in the NHL, he was about 1/5.5 games. Standard pattern, I suppose, but I was certainly hoping there was more there. Right now, he's on track "Zach".

This doesn't provide any comfort to me... What kind of comfort are you looking for ? Are you trying to decide if you need your Elmo costume or the gimp suit?

Too bad it was wasted by a bad Lohrei turnover.

That's quite a run. Wondering if he could be that coveted late-round goalie pick that makes the NHL. The Bruins have done pretty well picking goalies later in the draft and should keep throwing darts at that board. It also struck me that there are really two pronunciation possibilities here, and neither one is good. Male genitalia or lesbian slur, and then there's whatever ends up coming out of Jack Edwards' mouth. Kid could be a legend.

"With 15G-34A-49PTS in 55GP, Fabian Lysell is just one point away from surpassing both Jack Studnicka and Jake DeBrusk for single-season point totals in Providence. This would make him Boston’s first draft pick to put up 50 points in Providence since 2015-2016"
Lysell should get some games in Boston.

Takes a lot of PSI to turn coal into diamonds , it looks like that big ass is up to the challenge Dez His 2nd goal tonight was great in it's simplicity. He slid away from the net only 2 or 3 feet but it was the difference between trying to just jam one through his pads and the outcome we saw. Goalie didn't stand a chance once Brazeau got into that position.
