I don't think so. I read his tweets. That's it .......that's all. Thats not quite true. You do read his tweets, and then relay what he said onto a BDC thread that started a full scale brouhaha!! So thats it…….just not all.

I don't remember that one. The one where Divver tweeted that Neely was at a P-Bruins game, you posted it and then the ensuing debate about whether he was there more often or not,or if that was his first time or if he should go at all. It was a good free for all.

Never did get a legitimate reason why Neely was MIA in Providence all year.......if what Divver was tweeting was true.

I don't think we figured out if Neely was actually at other games but it just wasn't reported or it was his first game. I think WTL(?) had said his brother went to P-Bruins games and had seen him there before, but i'm not sure.

"There's no sugarcoating it: He didn't have a good year.
In my opinion, Anthony has to figure out what his identity is as a player. The concussion he had in Feb./March of 2014 set him back, I think. He doesn't have the size to play a power forward's game. He didn't play consistently with enough energy this past season to really be considered an energy guy. Has to find a middle ground that makes him an effective player and tough to play against in a bottom six role.
I'm not aware of any issue with the coach or management. He was a healthy scratch down the stretch because other players were better.
As a third-year pro, I'd expect him to get an opportunity for a bigger role in the coming season. What he does with that chance is up to him."
From Mark Divver

PC certainly started to make up from his 1st 3 years of drafting. Drafting has to a lot with the scouting team and the current is much better than the one they fired a few years ago.

Just need to stay with the plan of keeping the CHL snobs out of Providence. So much for trading up and drafting the CHL's Sarnia Sting Pavel Zacha then. Oops I forgot ..........special exemption for Zacha.......with the absolute idea of him having an immediate impact in the NHL next year. No Providence down the road for this CHL player................make it happen PC DS. where do you think he will go ? a 2nd round pick up ?

Speaking of guys who have been disappointing, I had a quick look at where Zach Hamill is these days. Finland. He actually had a decent year as the second leading scorer for Hammalinna. Had a few more points than the guy the Bruins just signed (Joonas Manymanyvowels). Wonder if he'll ever get another look from someone.
Also of interest in a traffic crash sort of way - Matt Lashoff was back in the A with Portland/Bridgeport. Mikko Lehtonen - one of Stanley's funniest binkies when he had a 30 goal year with Skelleftea - is back in the SEL after a KHL experiment that didn't do much for him. Never close to that 30 goal plateau again.
Kinda fun to look these guys up. Jamie Arniel? Austria. Had a huge year last year, and then dropped back a bit this year. In, you know, Austria.

Seems strange to me too 50 but I'm mostly just looking at right shot players with size and skill who might still be available. Sure, I still sort of miss Kvartolnov but that's got nothing to do with it.

What happened to Camara? Was encouraged following his big year in 12-13, 36 goals in 50 games and the WJC bid. He was 3-5-8 in 59 games LY with the PBruins, only 32 PIMs. Pretty brutal. He now has a mere 12 AHL goals in 117 games. He'll be 22 in September, fair to say he will has taken the Jared Knight route to Bust City? Too early? Regarding Camara's game.........for me personally I wouldn't judge him on his numbers at the pro level. He was never going to be a player who scores anyways. He played with Schiefele.....the one year and improved on his numbers because of that. His skillset is that of an energy 3rd-4th line player who plays on the edge.
Maybe the problem is that once he got to the AHL he was trying to do that against men instead of teenagers. Hasn`t worked out for him and maybe never will. Pretty much what Divver said about Camara as well. He has this upcoming to try and reinsert himself as that 3rd or 4th line guy. Hopefully Camara gets it done.

Very strong on his skates and uses his size to protect the puck well. Drives the net hard and knows where he will shoot before he is even in a position to do so. Possesses a heavy and accurate release on his shot, which he likes to get off near the faceoff dots; if he can't shoot from there, he will either dangle or bull his way through to the blue paint. While he is proactive and aware defensively, he still needs to work on consistency in his own end. All-in-all, a dynamic offensive threat that has room to grow defensively. Craig Button has Guryanov at #20 in his mock draft,so he'll be available! But then so will Zacha, and he has Hanifan at #12 so who knows. I hope the B's take a forward at any rate.
